Your numbers, live — in the room where decisions get made.

Live Power BI dashboards, cash-flow and runway models, and scenario tools that turn your data into decisions you can make in real time.

Founding-client rate: builds from $1,000 $2,000 — fixed fee, agreed before any work starts.

When you need this

The situations this is built for.

Reports arrive weeks after month-end, retyped into Excel by hand — and by the time you see them, the moment to act has passed.

You run multiple branches or service lines, and can't see which one earns and which one leaks.

Your cash position is a monthly surprise instead of a daily fact.

Your data lives in five systems — accounting, payroll, CRM, ops — and none of them talk to each other.

The process

How the engagement works.

Decisions first, plumbing second, charts last — because a dashboard is only as honest as the data behind it.

01

Scope the decisions

A dashboard is only useful if it answers the questions you actually face — staffing, pricing, branch performance, cash. We start from your decisions, not from a list of charts. You'll know the scope and the fee before any work starts.

02

Data plumbing first

ETL from your systems — accounting, payroll, CRM, operations — into a clean, documented data model (star-schema, so it's fast and trustworthy). Retyped, inconsistent data is what kills BI projects, which is why this step comes before anything visual.

03

Build iteratively

Dashboard pages arrive in drafts, and your feedback shapes each round. The command center takes form around how you actually run the business — branch economics, labor, collections, cash — not a generic layout.

04

Add the what-if layer

Sliders and scenario tools on top of the live data: test a staffing change, a volume shift, or a pricing move and watch the impact flow through to margin and cash — in the meeting, on the spot.

05

Train and hand over

Your team learns to run it. Everything is built on standard Power BI with licensing you own — no proprietary lock-in, no dependency on me. Extend it later with a retainer, or run it yourselves.

Founding rates are honored for the life of the engagement. Complex scopes (many sources, messy data) are quoted on the call — always fixed before work begins.

Where the money is

What live visibility is worth.

Stale numbers don't just slow you down — they hide exactly the things that decide whether you make money.

Branch economics, exposed

Averages hide the leak. A strong location can quietly subsidize a weak one for years. Unit-level economics show where money is actually made and actually lost — so you fix the right thing.

Problems surfaced the month they happen

Overtime creep and collection slippage are cheap to fix in the month they start and expensive to discover at year-end. Live reporting collapses that gap to nearly zero.

Decisions tested in the meeting

A staffing ramp gets priced with a slider before a dollar of payroll is committed. When testing a decision costs nothing, you test more decisions — and commit to better ones.

"A dashboard is only as honest as the data behind it. That's why the pipeline comes before the charts — a beautiful report on bad data is just a faster way to be wrong."

Straight answers

What this is — and isn't.

We're on QuickBooks and spreadsheets. Is that enough?

Yes — that's the most common starting point. The pipeline is built from whatever your business already produces. Messy data isn't a blocker; cleaning it is part of the job.

Do we need to buy new software?

Power BI runs on standard Microsoft licensing that you own directly. There's no proprietary platform, no subscription to me, and nothing that stops working if our engagement ends.

Who maintains it after handover?

Your team, after training — it's built and documented for that. If you'd rather not, a light retainer keeps it current and extends it as the business grows. Either way, the choice stays yours.
